Carolyn Riolo, CPA

"We get excited when we can save our clients money"

In Public Accounting for over 15 years, Carolyn Riolo still loves to help people solve financial problems. Carolyn's passion is assisting others who might not be aware of the intricacies of retirement planning, trusts, and estate planning. In addition to her taxation and estate expertise, she has experience in a wide range of business environments: especially construction (she managed a construction company for many years), and agricultural and ranching. (she grew up on a ranch and still raises horses and cattle in her "spare time").

In today's environment, tax laws are in constant flux. Ms. Riolo is adamant about continuing education to keep her clients apprised of any new tax opportunities.

"We're constantly learning, so we can best advise our clients. If I don't have the answer to a question, I'll find out as soon as I can, and follow up."

Carolyn is enthusiastic about the quality of service and individual attention that she and her partners provide for RR&F's clients. While she is looking to expand business by serving a wide range of business and individual clients, she has a soft spot for people reaching, or about to reach, retirement age. With that in mind, she hopes to do more work with clients who are residents of the retirement communities, and help them with Estate and Trust planning & taxation.

Dale A. Roberts, CPA

"For most of my clients, their business is the largest asset they have. It's their life."

Dale Roberts has been in public accounting for a number of years. He was affiliated with a Bay Area firm for seven years specializing in tax and accounting while helping clients develop and grow in that intensive entrepreneurial environment. Now, as a partner in Riolo, Roberts, and Freddi, he has the opportunity to help his partners build a new firm, and enjoys working one-on-one with his clients, both business owners and individuals.

A specialist in tax and accounting for corporations and other small businesses, Mr. Roberts works with a wide range of companies. He has clients in construction, manufacturing, software development, as well as many service-based businesses, both large and small. In addition, he works with non-profit and governmental organizations, performing audit and tax services. Dale also has a good understanding of computer systems including many accounting software packages, which makes him valuable to clients who may need help in this arena.

Dale is currently the Treasurer of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a proud member of the following organizations:

In 2001, he and his family relocated from San Jose to Roseville, where he now lives with his wife and two daughters.

Anna M. Freddi, CPA

"I will go the extra mile to find a better answer, a better strategy"

Anna Freddi takes an "in the trenches" approach to her accounting practice, often working onsite with her clients. She has extensive experience in the areas of business accounting and taxation, software consulting, and audits of government and non-profit entities. Raised on a Roseville horse and cattle ranch by a contractor father and a CPA mother, Ms. Freddi brings an array of life experiences to her unique style of practice. She works with a variety of businesses in the agricultural, construction, medical, and veterinary fields as well as many other service type industries.

Today, Anna Freddi is proud to be one of the three partners at Riolo, Roberts & Freddi, and to have the chance to use her accounting, management, and tax expertise to assist businesses, families and individuals in achieving their goals. She strongly believes that careful planning can make a huge difference and strives to help her clients be proactive with their tax and accounting issues. Whether she's helping a small company dig into some operational issues, or helping a family set up a college savings plan for their children, Anna relates to people, and wants to help them grow.
